Inhabit believes in one on one Christian mentoring between students and adults. Currently many students are in regular mentor relationships with members of Transformation City Church. Mentoring is simply consistently caring for the real and felt needs of a young person. Mentors provide a listening ear, Christian guidance and consistent modeling of a God-centered life. Most of our mentors meet weekly with their students. They take them to the library, out to eat, to a sporting event or similar public space. The key is consistent one on one care.
How can I become a mentor?
Mentoring is not something entered into lightly. We try to match potential mentors with mentees based on knowledge of both people. For more information, please contact Kevin Sas-Perez.
